Pandion and KidWind launched WindWise Education at the annual conference of the Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS) on November 2, 2009. WindWise Education is a comprehensive curriculum for grades 6 to 12 that explores the dynamic field of wind through hands on physics, engineering, biology, math, and earth science activities.

WindWise Education is produced by a partnership of the KidWind Project and Pandion Systems, Inc. KidWind was one of the first developers of wind lessons and educational kits for teachers and has established itself as a leader in wind energy education. Pandion specializes in wind-wildlife interactions. Pandion's team of ecologists, biologists, and educators has designed and implemented several environmental curricula and teacher training programs. The combined expertise of KidWind and Pandion has resulted in a one-of-a-kind wind energy program for educators, schools, and school districts.
