Designing Education Programs

We have developed regional and national education programs on a wide range of topics, including fire ecology, wind energy, wildlife, and upland and aquatic ecosystems. Programs include written lessons, web resources, educator training, and assessment and evaluation tools.

While a curriculum is often designed to meet the needs of students and their teachers, Pandion also adapts these for use by interpretive guides and instructors at parks and nature centers.

Program Evaluation

Have you considered revising your program, but are not sure how to proceed?  Program evaluation helps you improve your program’s focus and garner long-term support and funding. We are experienced with all aspects of program evaluation, from in-depth needs assessments and focus groups to surveys and market analyses.

We wrote the manual Best Practices Guide to Program Evaluation (PDF) for the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation based on years of practical experience and a review of current literature.

Marketing and Public Relations

We create clear, effective messages that you can use on your own or combine with the work of your PR team. We also market your education and outreach programs to help them reach target audiences and achieve their best.

Through surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews, we accurately assess public knowledge, opionions, and attitudes on critical issues. We use this information to create campaigns, messages, and materials targeted at increasing public knowledge and changing behaviors.
