Curriculum Design

Increasing student's knowledge, understanding, and awareness of local natural areas instills a sense of place in their community. Environmental education can also foster support for local government land management practices. A well designed curriculum is a great way to convey important environmental information.

While a curriculum is often designed to meet the needs of children and their teachers, it can also be adapted for use by interpretive guides and instructors at protected natural areas.

Pandion creates targeted curriculums for students of all ages that address environmental needs. Designing curriculum activities is only part of the project. The Pandion team works to make curriculum user friendly by incorporating reading passages, background information, state and national education standards, and assessment and evaluation tools.

Pandion is experienced at designing, producing, evaluating, and delivering environmental education curricula. Pandion team members are certified teachers as well as experienced trainers.
