Tortoise Authorized Agent Permit Training
 This
training course helps applicants meet requirements for the Authorized
Gopher Tortoise Agent Permit.
Pandion is an FWC-approved
training provider for Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent Permits.
We have been relocating gopher tortoises for over 10 years and
currently manage over 500 acres of gopher tortoise mitigation
lands.

Fire in
Florida's Ecosystems Educator Training
 Fire
in Florida's Ecosystems is a
workshop for educators of all types. Learn about
fire's natural role in this Florida Division of Forestry-sponsored
training. Workshops are offered throughout the state all year.
The curriculum includes:
- Activities for 3rd through 12th grade students
- Fire Ecology
- Prescribed Fire as a Land Management Tool
- Correlations to Sunshine State Standards
- FCAT style study prompts
Educators receive a curriculum notebook,
videos, posters, and an interactive CD. This six-hour workshop
is approved for inservice credit.
No workshops are scheduled at this
time. Upcoming workshops dates will be posted on this site, so
please check back often.
Register
for NAI Certified Interpretive Guide Training
Registration is limited to 30 people.
 This
training is designed for people who deliver interpretive programs
and for all people for whom public contact is a regular part of
their job or volunteer activity.
Come and join us for learning, fun,
and a great time with your colleagues, all of whom want to improve
their abilities to communicate effectively
with visitors.
The training
lasts 32 hours and is full of interactive exercises and opportunities
for practicing interpretive techniques.

Certification Requirements
All persons requiring certification will need to complete
a program outline, deliver a 10 minute program, and pass an open book exam.
Materials
All participants will receive NAI’s Certified Interpretive Guide Training
Workbook by Lisa Brochu and Tim Merriman. We recommend that you also purchase
Personal Interpretation by Lisa Brochu – please order from NAI’s
website: www.interpnet.com
Fees
Fees include all materials and refreshments. (Note that meals,
lodging, and transportation are not included.)
$365: NAI Certification (non-members)
$320: NAI Certification (NAI members)
$285: no certification (non-members)
$240: no certification (members or non-members not needing membership) Refund Policy: Full refunds available
when cancellations are made at least 14 days prior to the workshop
date. Cancellations made without 14 days notice will receive a
refund less 20%.
