Training Training offers participants the opportunity
for interactive learning about environmental topics. Pandion takes
the time to carefully plan and design training programs so that
participants get the information they need in an engaging format.
Our skilled staff take complicated topics and present them in
an interesting, clear manner that is tailored to the audience.
Pandion has training expertise in many
topics, including threatened and endangered species, NEPA compliance,
interpretive naturalist certification, ecotourism, fire ecology,
and water resources. We have trained a variety of audiences including
the general public, educators, ecotourism providers, government

Water Resources
Training
Where does our drinking water come
from? Why are there water restrictions? Why do we have to conserve
water when Florida
gets so much rainfall?
What happens when we desalinate seawater
to drink?
If you are interested in answers
to these questions, you may want to participate in the Senior Water
Resource Training (SWRT) program. SWRT has been funded by the
Hillsborough County Water
Department since Spring 2002 and is free of charge. It is a community
program that teaches people about water and does it in a fun
way.
The goal of the SWRT program is to
help expand the public’s
understanding of water conservation issues in Hillsborough County.
SWRT offers an enjoyable way to meet your neighbors and explore
your interest in the important water use issues that confront us
all. Come join us and you will get a free notebook of water
information and a chance to visit interesting areas that are important
for understanding water challenges in Florida.
